Softball Rules
Kemptville Wildcats play in the Rural Otttawa Softball Association (ROSA) and follow their local rules of play. ROSA rules generally follow the Softball Canada standard fastpitch rules but with some minor modifications.
NOTE: Softball Canada does make updates to the fast pitch rules each year, primarily around player safety. For example, in recent years there has been a number of changes to introduce protective face masks for batters and pitchers.
